SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Electric Utility Restructuring Act ("Act"); Commission on Electric Utility Restructuring. Repeals the Electric Utility Restructuring Act and abolishes the Commission on Electric Utility Restructuring. The State Corporation Commission will continue to be authorized to approve the construction and operation of all electrical generating facilities. Electric cooperatives are permitted to recover their costs relating to implementation of the Act if those costs were incurred prior to the repeal of the Act.
