SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Sales and use tax; dealers filing returns. Allows a dealer to deliver sales tax returns to his local commissioner of the revenue or local treasurer instead of the State Tax Commissioner.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Sales and use tax; dealers filing returns. Allows a dealer to file and pay the sales taxes he collects with his local commissioner of the revenue, local treasurer, or the State Tax Commissioner. Under current law, dealers file only with the State Tax Commissioner.
