SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Admission to bail for multiple DUI offenders. Provides a presumption against bail for a person arrested for a DUI crime if the person has been convicted three times of a DUI crime within the past five years. This bill is identical to HB 889.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Admission to bail for multiple DUI offenders. Provides that upon the alleged third or subsequent offense for any DUI crime, or upon arrest for a third DUI while awaiting trial for a second, there shall be presumed no admission to bail pending trial.
