Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 33.1-370.2 as follows:

§ 33.1-370.2. Maintenance and repair of nonconforming signs.

Maintenance of and repairs to nonconforming signs, as defined in § 33.1-351, shall be governed by this chapter and regulations promulgated by the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner.
