Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 15 of Chapter 1 of Title 33.1 a section numbered 33.1-223.2:9 as follows:

§ 33.1-223.2:9. Donations of landscaping materials, landscaping services, or funds to carry out landscaping.

If any person offers to donate to the Department landscaping materials, landscaping services or funds to enable the Department to carry out landscaping on any highway under the Department's control, the Commissioner shall accept such offer, subject to such limitations and other requirements as the Commissioner shall deem prudent or necessary.
