Commending George B. Baggarly.

WHEREAS, beginning on January 1, 1952, George B. Baggarly served on the Warren County Board of Supervisors as the South River District representative for 28 years; and

WHEREAS, George B. Baggarly served as the chairman of the Board of Supervisors from January 17, 1968, to December 31, 1969; and

WHEREAS, beginning January 1, 1988, George B. Baggarly was appointed to and served on the Warren County Planning Commission as the South River District representative for 15 years; and

WHEREAS, George B. Baggarly served with distinction as vice chairman of the Warren County Planning Commission from January 1, 1990, to December 31, 2003; and

WHEREAS, George B. Baggarly, a fiscally conservative steward of the County's resources, was a supervisor and planning commissioner who always considered the interests of the residents of the South River District; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend George B. Baggarly for his many years of outstanding leadership and service on behalf of the citizens of Warren County; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to George B. Baggarly as an expression of the appreciation and gratitude of the General Assembly.
