HOUSE BILL NO. 964 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Transportation on January 29, 2004) (Patrons Prior to Substitute--Delegates Barlow and Watts [HB 426]) A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 10 of Chapter 6 of Title 46.2 a section numbered 46.2-749.101, relating to special license plates for bicycle enthusiasts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 10 of Chapter 6 of Title 46.2 a section numbered 46.2-749.101 as follows:

§ 46.2-749.101. Special license plates for bicycle enthusiasts

On receipt of an application therefor, the Commissioner shall issue special license plates to bicycle enthusiasts.
