045114480Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 9.2 of Title 24.2 a section numbered 24.2-945 as follows:
§ 24.2-945. Instructions for compliance with the disclosure requirements for political campaign advertisements.
The State Board shall provide instructions for compliance with the disclosure requirements of this chapter to be available in printed form on request and to be posted on its official website. The instructions shall give detailed and specific information on the size and placement of the legends and statements required by this chapter for all varieties of advertisements, including without limitation, those required on print, radio, and television media advertisements. The Office of the Attorney General shall review the State Board's instructions for accuracy and completeness prior to the release and posting of the instructions.
