040028232Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 18.2-174.2 as follows:
§ 18.2-174.2. Impersonating public service company personnel; penalty.
Any person who (i) willfully impersonates, with the intent to make another believe he is, a public service company employee and who falsely assumes or exercises the functions, powers, duties or privileges incident to the position or (ii) enters upon the property of another while impersonating a public service employee is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
