Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the second enactment of Chapter 884 of the Acts of Assembly of 1997, as amended and reenacted by Chapters 424 and 441 of the Acts of Assembly of 2001, is amended and reenacted as follows:

2. That the provisions of this act shall expire on January 1, 20052008, if the Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority has not executed a lease with a major league baseball team.
