046513236Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 3 of Chapter 3 of Title 8.01 a section numbered 8.01-44.6 as follows:
§ 8.01-44.6. No action for personal injury resulting from commission of felony.
Upon a motion supported by an affidavit or other evidence, a court shall dismiss with prejudice any action to recover damages for injuries suffered by a person who, at the time he sustained the personal injuries, was engaged in the commission of a felony.
