Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.2-3310.2, as follows:

§ 2.2-3310.2. Display of the Vietnamese-American Heritage Flag.

The flag of the former Republic of Vietnam, with three horizontal red stripes on a field of golden-yellow, which symbolizes freedom and democracy and represents the cultural heritage of Vietnamese-Americans, is recognized by the Commonwealth as the Vietnamese-American Heritage Flag and may be displayed in any place or at any event, public or private, subject to applicable regulations.
