HOUSE BILL NO. 1110 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Transportation on February 3, 2004) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Moran) A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 46.2-746.8:2, relating to special license plates; retired law-enforcement officers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-746.8:2 as follows:

§ 46.2-746.8:2. Special license plates; retired law-enforcement officers.

On receipt of an application and written evidence that the applicant is a retired sworn law-enforcement officer, the Commissioner shall issue to the applicant special license plates.
