Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 51.1-124.13 as follows:

§ 51.1-124.13. Benefits to state retirees not to be reduced.

No person who retires under any of the plans administered by the Virginia Retirement System for state employees shall have any of the benefits to which he is due from the Commonwealth as a result of such retirement, including any future increases, reduced during any period of his retirement.
