SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Local, prepayable traffic offenses. Provides that the fine for speeding in certain residential districts that have signs displaying the speed limit is $200 and can be suspended only if the court orders 20 hours of community service. Under current law the fine can be up to $200 and there is no reference to community service. The bill also provides that the prepayable fine is $200 plus an amount per mile-per-hour.
