Introduced by: Malfourd W. Trumbo | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Senate Rules changes. Removes the requirement that engrossed legislation must be printed on separate color paper; corrects references to the obsolete Title 2.1; and requires the majority of each house on conference committees to approve the conference report before the Senate considers the report. Under the current Rules of the Senate, only a majority of the conferees is necessary to approve the conference report. The House of Delegates amended its Rules in 2002 to make this change.
