Nitrogen reduction in the Chesapeake Bay. Urges the Congress of the United States to adopt legislation in support of funding for nitrogen reduction technology in the 108th Congress. The Commonwealth is a signatory to the Chesapeake 2000 Agreement, in which Virginia pledges to significantly reduce nitrogen to levels sufficient to remove the Chesapeake Bay from the Environmental Protection Agency's impaired or "dirty waters" list by 2010. This resolution is identical to HR 38.
