SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Encouraging sacrifice and exercise of personal fiscal restraint. Encourages the members of the General Assembly to sacrifice and exercise personal fiscal restraint during the Commonwealth's period of fiscal exigency. The Clerk of the Senate is requested to transmit a copy of the resolution to the Speaker of the House of Delegates and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, requesting that they encourage the members of the respective bodies to observe the intent and spirit of the resolution, and to the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, and the Attorney General, requesting that they further disseminate copies of the resolution to their respective constituents so that they may be apprised of the sense of the General Assembly of Virginia in this matter.
