SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Child protective services; retention of records. Requires that the records of family assessments shall be retained for 3 years after the date of the complaint or report, rather than the current 1-year retention period. The records will be purged after such 3-year period if there are no subsequent complaints or reports regarding the same child or the person who is the subject of the report in that 3-year period.
