SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Commercial driver's licenses; hazardous materials endorsement. Meets the requirements of the U.S.A. Patriot Act of 2001 which, in part, prohibits issuance by states of commercial driver's licenses with hazardous materials endorsements unless the U.S. Secretary of Transportation certifies that the applicant poses no security risk. This bill is the same as HB 1962.
