SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Criminal intelligence. Places in the Code of Virginia criminal intelligence systems operating policies that are currently in the Code of Federal Regulations. The bill governs the collection, maintenance, dissemination and review of intelligence information by any department or agency of the Commonwealth or any political subdivision. Violation of the requirements is a Class 1 misdemeanor. This bill is a recommendation of the Crime Commission.
