SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Bicycles. Revises the definition of "bicycle" (as it applies to Title 46.2, Motor Vehicles) to eliminate references to pedals and seat height. The bill also provides definitions for "bicycle lane," "shared-use path," and "sidewalk"; revises where and how bicyclists are to ride on highways; allows transportation of children under six years old on bicycles if they are securely attached to the bicycle in a seat or a trailer designed for young children; and allows but does not require bicycles, electric power-assisted bicycles, and mopeds to display slow-moving vehicle emblems. This bill is the same as HB 1553.
