SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

No discharge zone. Removes the restriction on the State Water Control Board that prohibits it from promulgating no discharge regulations that are more restrictive than federal law. Removing this restriction on the Board's authority will enable the Commonwealth to enforce the Commonwealth's no discharge regulations at Smith Mountain Lake.
