SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)

Display of the flag of the Republic of Vietnam. Requires that the only flag depicting the country of Vietnam that school boards, community colleges, and public institutions of higher education may display at state-sponsored public functions be the flag of the former Republic of Vietnam. The bill expresses that only the flag displayed depicting Vietnam be the flag of the former Republic of Vietnam in deference to the refugees from that country who sacrificed and resisted communist aggression, emigrated to the United States, and settled in Virginia.
