SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Provisional drivers' licenses. Specifies that a violation of the curfew or passenger restrictions of a provisional driver's license is a traffic infraction and that for a second or subsequent violation the court may suspend the juvenile's privilege to drive for up to 6 months. Provisional drivers' licenses are initial licenses issued to persons less than 18 years of age and the drivers are restricted in the number of child passengers they may carry and the hours during which they may drive. This bill was recommended by the Committee on District Courts.
