SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Speed limits; enforcement using photo-radar technology. Allows state police officers (and law-enforcement officers of localities where authorized by ordinance) to use photo-radar technology, operated by law-enforcement officers, to enforce speed limits. Violators would be subject to a civil penalty calculated as provided for in the Rules of the Supreme Court of Virginia for a speeding violation.
