SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)

Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge. Requires the Department of Transportation to contact its Maryland counterpart to initiate discussions for the construction of a second span parallel to the existing Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge, conveying U.S. Route 301 across the Potomac River between Maryland and Virginia. A report on these discussions is to be submitted to the General Assembly by December 1, 2003.
