Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 5 of Title 7.1 a section numbered 7.1-40.14 as follows:

§ 7.1-40.14. Official state mineral.

Goosecreekite is hereby designated as the official mineral of the Commonwealth.
