Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 26-24 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 26-24. Fees of commissioners of accounts.

Except as otherwise provided, the fees of commissioners of accounts shall be prescribed by the court which that appointed them. In addition to prescribing such fees, the court shall prescribe the procedures for the refund or crediting of the amount of any overpayment of any fee paid by the fiduciary of the decedent's estate.
