SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; FAMIS. Directs the Joint Commission on Health Care, in cooperation with the Department of Medical Assistance Services, to review the regulatory, statutory, and administrative provisions of the Family Access to Medical Insurance Security (FAMIS) Program to determine how to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the program, and to increase enrollment. This is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Health Care.
