SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Information-sharing about innovative practices among treatment providers. Requests the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to explore ways to communicate information about innovative practices among providers of mental health and substance abuse treatment services to offenders. This study is a recommendation of the Committee Studying Treatment Options for Offenders with Mental Illness or Substance Abuse Disorders (SJR 440, 2001). This resolution has been incorporated into SJR 97 (Martin).
