SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Virginia-North Carolina Interstate High-Speed Rail Commission. Extends the mandate of the Virginia-North Carolina Interstate High-Speed Rail Commission for two additional years, with a final report to the Governor and the 2005 Session of the General Assembly. The Virginia delegation to the joint panel consists of eight members, four members of the Senate and four members of the House of Delegates.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia-North Carolina Interstate High-Speed Rail Commission. Extends the mandate of the Virginia-North Carolina Interstate High-Speed Rail Commission for two additional years, with a final report to the Governor and the 2005 Session of the General Assembly. The size of the Virginia portion of the joint panel is increased from six to 10 members as the result of the inclusion of four additional members of the Virginia Senate.
