SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Adoption; consent of the birth father. Nullifies paternal consent-to-adoption requirement if the father has been convicted of assault and battery against the birth mother while pregnant with the child and the birth mother signs the entrustment agreement or consents to the adoption of the child within twenty-four months of the birth of the child. This bill is identical to SB 607.
