SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:

Conviction of a serious driving offense. Provides that a conviction for traffic offenses that cause the death of any person may include suspension of the driver's license for not more than 12 months.

SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Conviction of a serious driving offense. Provides that a conviction for certain traffic offenses may include suspension of the driver's license for not more than 12 months.

SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Conviction of a traffic offense resulting in death. Provides that a conviction for certain traffic offenses resulting in death shall include suspension of the driver's license for at least six months, but not more than 12 months.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Conviction of a driving offense resulting in death; penalty. Provides that a conviction for any driving offense or traffic infraction resulting in death shall include suspension of the driver's license for at least six months, but not more than 12 months.
