SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

County manager plan; employee benefits. Allows any county with the county manager plan of government (currently, only Arlington County), to (i) provide for the use of funds, other than state funds, to provide incentives for county and school board employees to purchase or rent residences, for use as the employee's principal residence, within the county, and (ii) offer health insurance benefits to other members of the county employee's households, as defined by ordinance.
