SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Involuntary commitment hearings; written transcript of proceedings. Requires the judge to provide for the recording and transcription of the evidence in an involuntary commitment hearing by a court reporter. The court reporter's transcription shall include the original or copies of all documents, reports or other evidence presented. Currently, the law provides for only a tape or other audio recording of such hearings.
