SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Higher education reporting requirements. Requests the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission to examine the number, type, appropriateness, and use of reports required of the Commonwealth's public institutions of higher education. In conducting the study, the Commission shall consider, among other things, state-imposed reporting requirements in other states, federal reporting requirements, the recommendations of the Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Higher Education, and related issues as the Commission deems appropriate.
The Commission shall complete its work no later than November 30, 2002, and shall submit its written findings and recommendations to the Governor and the 2003 Session of the General Assembly.
