SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; employment discrimination based on genetic information. Establishes a joint subcommittee to study employment discrimination based on genetic information. The joint subcommittee shall consider (i) the extent to which existing federal laws protect employees from employment discrimination based on genetic information; (ii) whether other states have enacted legislation to address employment discrimination based on genetic information; (iii) the extent to which employment discrimination based on genetic information occurs within the Commonwealth; and (iv) the impact of anti-discrimination legislation on employment practices and costs within the Commonwealth.
