SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
School crisis and emergency management plans. Directs the Virginia Center for School Safety, the Coordinator of Emergency Management, and the Board of Education to include, within the model school crisis and emergency management plan for public schools, effective procedures and means by which parents can contact the relevant school or school division regarding the location and safety of their schoolchildren and by which school officials may contact parents, with parental approval, during a critical event or emergency.
