SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families; child support disregard. Returns child support collected by the Department of Social Services on behalf of recipients of TANF cash assistance pursuant to the assignment required as a condition of eligibility to such recipient. Such child support payments shall be disregarded in determining (a) eligibility for TANF cash assistance and medical assistance services and (b) the amount of the TANF cash assistance payment.
