SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Notaries public; educational requirements. Requires applicant for notary public to, within one year of making application, complete at least three hours of interactive or classroom instruction, including electronic notarization, covering the duties of the notary public. Courses satisfying this requirement may be offered by any public or private institution or entity registered with the Secretary of the Commonwealth and shall include a core curriculum approved by the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
