SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Tree conservation ordinance; designated species. Grants localities the authority to adopt ordinances regulating the preservation and removal of "designated species." "Designated species" shall mean any species of tree that has been designated by the local governing body to have notable historic, cultural or ecological value to a specific area.
