SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Penalties for embezzlement; penalties. Provides that no person convicted of embezzlement shall be eligible for community service in lieu of other punishment, that any person convicted of misdemeanor embezzlement shall be sentenced to a minimum, mandatory sentence of five days in jail and that any person convicted of felony embezzlement and who is not committed to the Department of Corrections shall be sentenced to a minimum, mandatory sentence of 10 days in jail.
