SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Partial release of certain performance bonds by localities. Provides that when localities make partial releases of performance bonds, such partial releases shall not exceed fifty percent of the original amount until sufficient public uses are established for acceptance, unless a maintenance agreement and indemnifying bond have been posted in accordance with subdivision 5 of § 15.2-2241.
