SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Physicians performing abortions. Requires, prior to performing any abortion in this Commonwealth, any physician to have practice privileges in a hospital or valid, unexpired or uncancelled malpractice liability insurance for at least $ 2 million. The Board of Medicine is required to monitor and verify these requirements and the physician will be required to report any lawsuit filed against him regardless of the outcome of the action.
