SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Assistance in the prosecution of election law offenses. Provides that when a request is made by a unanimous vote of the State Board of Elections for assistance in prosecuting elections law violations, the Attorney General shall conduct an investigation and report his findings to the State Board. Present law authorizes the Attorney General to respond to such a request from the State Board. This bill has been incorporated into HB 640.
