Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 10.1-202.2 as follows:

§ 10.1-202.2. Senior Passport established; fee for entry into state parks.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation shall establish a Senior Passport card that authorizes persons sixty-two years of age or older to enter Virginia's state parks for a one-time fee of ten dollars. Persons seeking such a card shall, upon the presentation of proof of age and payment of ten dollars, be issued a card by the Division of State Parks. The card shall be non-transferable.
