Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 46.2-832 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 46.2-832. Injuring signs.

Any person who defaces, injures, knocks down, or removes any legally posted sign shall be guilty of a Class 2 1 misdemeanor. For the purposes of this section, "legally posted sign" shall include street signs.
