021141890Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 15.2-926.1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 15.2-926.1. Bounties for coyotes and groundhogs.
Any locality may by ordinance permit the killing of coyotes or groundhogs within its boundaries at any time and may pay, out of any available funds, a bounty for each coyote or groundhog killed within its boundaries. The ordinance may prescribe the conditions to be met and the evidence to be submitted before any such payment is made, as well as the amount of the bounty to be paid.
