2002 SESSION
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 7.6 of Chapter 12 of the Acts of Assembly of 1987, as amended by Chapter 871 of the Acts of Assembly of 1993, is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 7.6. Substantial accord review of county facilities.
Any public area, facility or use owned by the County of Chesterfield within its
territorial limits as defined by § 15.2-2232 of the Code of Virginia, which has
been approved by the board of supervisors following a public hearing held pursuant to the county's
zoning ordinance shall be exempt from the requirement for submittal to and approval by the county's
planning commission or governing body under § 15.1-456 15.2-2232 of the Code of
Virginia, so long as such public area, facility or use remains subject to the requirements of the zoning
ordinance.
